Welcome to Wild Roots Homeschool Collaborative! As a community-driven organization, we are committed to providing educational resources and support to homeschool families in our area. Our board of directors is the driving force behind our mission, and we are proud to introduce them to you.
Our board of directors consists of dedicated member caregivers and volunteers who share a passion for homeschooling and a commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Jess Koller
President & Founder
Jess Koller is the Founder and President of Wild Roots. With a background in nursing and a BS in psychology, she brings a thoughtful and practical approach to education. After 11 years of homeschooling her three children, Jess founded Wild Roots to offer hands-on, nature-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and build community. For the past five years, she has guided the program’s growth with creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to meaningful learning.
Jessie Hodges
Alternate & Co-Founder
Jessie Hodges has served on the Wild Roots Board for many years, bringing a strong background in education coordination, administration, and community engagement. With a wealth of experience supporting learning programs and fostering inclusive spaces, Jessie helps shape the organization’s growth and sustainability. Her thoughtful leadership and collaborative spirit reflect Wild Roots’ mission to create enriching, hands-on learning experiences for all families.


Jessica Rowland
Treasurer
Jessica Rowland’s experience includes more than 20 years working with nonprofits and 10 years homeschooling. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, and specializes in training and education. She also has a passion for finances and economics, and enjoys sharing this interest with others. In addition to her work with WRHG, Jessica is a Scouting America mentor, technical theater volunteer, and a pet sitter. She enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring new places. Jessica and her partner Adam have one teenage son, and two cats who rule their home.
Adam Rowland
Secretary
Adam Rowland, PhD serves as a general board member for WRHG. He is the proud parent (and educator) for one teenage homeschooler in the group. He has a background in chemistry, and when not teaching spends most days working in quality for a pharmaceutical company.


Cecily Frank
Membership Chair
Cecily Frank serves as Membership Chair for Wild Roots, where she helps foster connection and community among our families. With a background in management and a talent for organization, she ensures members feel supported and informed. Cecily brings both professional skill and a parent’s perspective to the board, inspired by her experiences homeschooling her child and her belief in collaborative, curiosity-driven learning.
